N8UKF Repeater Group
This loosely organized bunch of Hams have worked on many iterations of the
147.380, 442.300, 443.200 repeaters and the homebrew digital D-star repeater
that had been on the air in the Muskegon area.
Our Purpose
We all work to provide the needed infrastructure that may be required of local
radio operators and emergency services groups in our area. We never know
when these services may be required. Our groups repeaters will help serve
those needs in case of an emergency or for the numerous community events
and emergency drills local hams participate in.
But after all this is our hobby as well and we strive to provide support for the
latest emerging technologies so those interested can hone their skills. We were
the first Yaesu System Fusion repeater in the state of Michigan and hope to
continue this type of groundbreaking activity in the future.
LST 393
One of the few remaining LST
Landing crafts of World War II still
afloat, the ship has been restored
and is open for tours right here in
Muskegon Mi. A sight you should
not miss!
